Ellen Doty is a soulful Canadian vocalist and songwriter with a world class voice.  Her music incorporates everything from jazz to soul, folk, pop and indie - a sound that is uniquely hers and a voice that has no limits.  A simply perfect evening to sit back, relax and enjoy.

This evening you'll learn the history of and hear a santur played LIVE.  The tones of a sweet dulcimer comes to mind.  The evocative sound of this ancient Persian instrument is performed in a contemporary style that traverses time.  The long resonating tones of Farhad's santur weave naturally with the earthy sounds of Daniel's percussion, creating a collaborative, seamless musical journey taking you all the way back to Babylonian times.

MADDIE STORVOLD

Maddie is a singer songwriter that is sure to entertain. Full of wit along with a splash of spice, her goal is to 'unite the hippies and the cowboys' through her music.  After a stint in Nashville, Maddie has turned her attention to her songwriting craft, and is working on a set of mature, hopeful, gritty songs written in her own voice and on her own terms.
